Jollibee Family Bee Day: Grand Picnic Times Five
7:57 AMYesterday, Jollibee succeeded in turning an ordinary summer afternoon into a fun-filled family event in five select venues in the Philippines. The Jollibee Family Bee Day was held simultaneously in Quirino Grandstand in Metro Manila, Bayanihan Park in Pampanga, Nuvali Football Grounds in Laguna, Plaza Independencia in Cebu, and the Crocodile Park in Davao. Dubbed as the Grandest Family Picnic Ever, the Jollibee Family Bee Day is a celebration of the Filipino's love for bonding over good food.

It was the Nuvali Football Grounds for me and my family. With performances from live bands and celebrity guests plus side attractions and Jollibee treats, there was no doubt we were indeed in for a fun-filled afternoon. Together with thousands of other families who trekked to the five appointed venues, we had the time of our life even under the heat of the scorching sun.
Food, Fun, and Family
Food was given out in a very orderly manner and that is always the best thing especially with many children-attendees. There were stilt walkers and jugglers parading around. Children were free to play at the inflatable slide and basketball shootout.
Jollibee Family Bee Day
The Jollibee Family Bee Day was intended to gather families, whether big or small. Families posed in the special photo frame wall installation or beside the giant picnic basket. The family of Regine Tolentino graced the event in Nuvali and showed how celebrities and their family members can picnic like the rest of us. Actress Marian Rivera also joined the event. Moonstar88 and Erik Santos provided the much appreciated entertainment for everybody. The other venues likewise had their own celebrities and entertainers in attendance.
My Say
It doesn't take much to make my children happy. Being together with the family and eating good food just about sums it up for them and even for my husband and myself. Seeing them smile like this is priceless.
That said, if Jollibee is responsible for eliciting this genuine smile even on an especially hot day, then that makes going to the Jollibee Family Bee Day worthwhile.
